about

3.1 is the last of a series of countdown EPs from Lifted that have been released throughout 2021 on the path to the band’s next album, 3. “Born In The Roof” is a slice of slacker techno, with post-trip party chat/poetry wrapped with street recordings and self-sampling. Propulsion becomes horizontal float as the track hypnotizes and slices itself into Polaroid reverb and true couch-surf. Backed with one of the forthcoming album tracks, “Cymbecko”, in a stripped, sculptured dub version. Cover painting “Dance Party” by Jordan Kasey.
